1. The better quality quartz stone is made by vacuum die casting, but the worse quality quartz stone is cast out by the production of heavy press plate. The density of the quartz stone is high, then the quartz stone will be more heavier in same size. Normally, the Quartz content of Quartz stone is from 80% to 94%, the higher content of quartz, the quality is better.

2. There are two normal kinds of thickness of quartz stone, 12mm and 15mm. Because hardness of quartz stone is higher than the solid surface sheet, so it is better to use the thickness 15mm, however, actually many manufacturers only produce 14mm or 13.5mm for the 15mm, but good manufacturers will not reduce only 1mm for save the cost of the quartz stone, so it is not recommended to choose the quartz stone which thickness doesn’t reach there 15mm.

3. Could test the hardness of the quartz stone by scratching with the key. the mainly composed of quartz stone is nature quartz(also named silicon), which hardness is only less than Diamond. There will be only tiny line on the good quality quartz stone surface after scratching by the key, and could be removed by scrubbing. But the worse quality quartz stone, there will be obvious scratch line white powder after scraping by key.

4. Good quality quartz stone will not be penetrated by the soy sauce after dripping the sauce on the quartz stone surface for few days. But the worse quality quartz stone will be penetrated for 1 days.
